Lincolnshire Police have said they believe they know the identity of a man whose body was found decomposed in Lincoln woods.
They are not treating the death as suspicious.
Officers are in the process of informing family members after the man was found dead near to the A46 bypass junction with Doddington Road at 8.30pm on Tuesday, July 26.
The body, which was found in a tent, is thought to have been there for a number of weeks due to the level of decomposition, police said.
A Home Office post mortem will be carried out over the next 24 hours.
No official identification has been made at the time of writing.
