A section of the A15 near Sleaford is expected to be shut for a number of hours after major collision involving two cars on Bank Holiday Monday.
Update: Sadly, two people have died and two are being treated for serious injuries in hospital following the collision. Latest here.
Emergency services have been scrambled to the scene of the serious crash, which occurred shortly after 10am near to Cranwell.
The road is closed between the Holdingham roundabout and the turnoff to Cranwell village and is expected to be shut for much of the day. Diversions are in place.

An eyewitness said: “There’s lots of surface water because of the rain. I saw a car in a ditch and the air ambulance arrived shortly after.”
